We need more debates with fewer candidates per debate
Edited on Mon Jul-23-07 07:14 PM by AndreaCG
Have 3 candidates per debate. Schedule them so each candidate is on stage with every other one at least once. Have a mix of questions from a journalist panel and this You Tube questioning, which I like. Allow the journalists (and I MEAN journalists, not talking heads) to ask follow up questions. NO GODDAMN COMMERCIAL BREAKS!!! Broadcast the debates on talk radio and NPR for those who don't have cable or the internet readily available. And most importantly, let the candidates speak for more than 30 seconds at a time.

AND MAKE SURE THE SAME IS DONE FOR THE REPUBLICANS!!!!

1. Have The BBC Ask The Questions
The BBC's journalists *really* know how to interrogate slippery interviewees.

2. Could we get a few MPs to come ask Bush some questions too?

3. K&R
and take back OUR airwaves to do it...

And candidate statements, uninterrupted - 30 minutes to lay out their policy and plans...

4. boggles my mind..
that in a country of the last I heard...300 million people ...the choice for president is narrowed down to roughly 20 candidates... a year out from the election date. Not even enough for a football game.
