The CMSM says HRC or Obama win every single debate and forum
Edited on Mon Jul-23-07 09:18 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
Gee, I wonder why? :sarcasm: Let's face it. The corporate MSM is trying to shove Clobama down our throats. How often have you been asked "So, are you supporting Hillary or Obama?". That did not randomly start to occur. That is because of the impression promoted by the corporate media that this is a two-way race, with the other six just being talking mannequins there to fill up the stage.

3. Because elections are ALL about the horserace - we don't have time to
discuss the issues! See "Assault on Reason" for further elaboration on this issue.

Also, it saves many people considerable time when they can just look at what "most other people think" and go with that -- 8 out of 10 homes have a Kenmore, so that's what I want too.

Get with the program DMC!

:eyes:

8. apparently
so do the focus groups, and the polls.

You go on KOS, which LOVES Edwards, and you see the same thing.

are they part of the CMSM as well?

9. That is false
Edited on Mon Jul-23-07 09:10 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
The Luntz focus group for the 6/3 debate had Edwards winning (the media spinners designated HRC the winner). Kos? Edwards consistently wins the post-debate polls at Kos.

There are 8 candidates. There is no way the same two legitimately win every single debate and forum. These two just happen to coincidentally be the media favorites...

12. How can a candidate win a debate when he gets no questions to answer?
I don't remember Kucinich getting a single question in the last hour. Even Gravel got a couple and he hasn't been in ofice for what, 15 years? That pissed me off big time.

13. I notice too that this happens
even when their own polls and groups indicate that someone other than Hillary or Obama has won. They just keep saying what they want it to be.

14. Poll finds Biden by far the biggest gainer
Edited on Mon Jul-23-07 10:03 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
Of course, the headline is "Clinton won." :eyes: Her "win" was based on her entering the debate with the largest base of support. The real winner in debates is the individual who gains the most ground.

Most Think Clinton Won Debate
A SurveyUSA instant poll of Americans who watched the CNN-YouTube Democratic presidential debate, found that those who thought Sen. Hillary Clinton would make the best president before the debate were even more convinced after it finished.

In addition, 39% of those watching said they thought Clinton won.

However, it was Sen. Joe Biden who made the biggest impression among viewers. Debate watchers were asked if they viewed each Democrat positively or negatively. Comparing the before and after answers:

* Biden went up 38 points, from -6 to +32.

* Obama went up 17 points, from +24 to +41.
* Clinton went up 16 points, from +34 to +50.
* Edwards went up 16, from +22 to +38.
* Dodd went up 15, from -21 to -6.
* Richardson went up 14, from -1 to +13.
* Kucinich went up 7, from -21 to -14.
* Gravel went down 3, from -29 to -32.
