NH Focus Group Picked Edwards as Winner of the Debate, called most "Genuine"
http://www.unionleader.com/article.aspx?headline=Turn+the+dial%2c+rate+the+Dems&articleId=ddbc5684-9c77-444b-969b-d28728e39b5d

The Associated Press observed a focus group that used dials to guage their reactions to the various candidate repsonses during Monday's Democratic presidential debate in South Carolina.

John Edwards had the best score when advocating for national health care, while Rep. Dennis Kucinich had the lowest mark for advocating for slave reparations.

Of the 12 focus group members, four thought Edwards won the debate, three thought Obama prevailed and two picked Clinton. In particular, the focus group thought Edwards was the most "genuine" of the candidates.

2. Did you read the 4th paragraph from the bottom?
Not sure you really want to post this - Edwards had the lowest gain. In other words, the 12 were predisposed toward Edwards but yet Clinton and Obama made the most gain.

3. All that says is how "comforatble" they are with each candidate
Edited on Wed Jul-25-07 11:36 AM by jsamuel
not who they would vote for.

Once it was over, on a scale of 1 to 10, he went from 7 to 7.8, indicating how comfortable voters would be with him as President. Clinton moved from 6.7 to 7.4 while Edwards went from 7.7 to 7.8.

Edwards may not have gained as much, but he was tops to begin with.

8. I Loved Edwards's Refrain of
"We have to MAKE them." That is the kind sentiment that can lead him back.

9. To be honest, I felt that Dodd "won." Dennis hit the issues I like square on,
and Gravel was a hoot calling out the Wall ST. crowd!
