1. He won't resign
BushCo will drag this out until he leaves office. Any subpoena will be contested, right up to the SCOTUS if necessary. No resignations, no surrender.

If necessary Bush will pardon Gonzo.

8. Your right.
Gonzo is the gate keeper to the flood gates that will expose everything. He can not be replaced. We will never know the extent to what they have been up to.

2. Didn't Reid say he was going to call some special sessions
during August so * couldn't make any recess appointments? I remember hearing something about that a month or two ago.

4. I heard that too. But after that ..... nada ......
..... I have no idea what's planned.

I'd love to see them stay in session 24/7 until we wear out the Republics and get what we want.

6. I don't think so--I think there would have to be Congressional hearings
no matter what.

7. Yes. Art 2, Sec 2.
But the appointment would expire at the end of the next session automatically. Such an appointment would be irregular and inflammatory to the extreme and the Senate would probably retaliate by withholding funds or immediately recommencing and ending a session to make the appointment mute. The USSC would probably become involved.

Imho, it'll never happen.
