McCain's media team resigns
Edited on Thu Jul-26-07 04:52 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
:rofl: For all the hype around the Clinton-Obama duel we need to remember the Republicans' internecine warfare is far worse and their top campaigns all have substantial problems at this point.

==McCain Loses Even More Staff

Sen. John McCain's media team "has resigned, an indication that a campaign shake-up two weeks ago is continuing to backfire and further imperil the Arizona Republican's presidential candidacy," the Wall Street Journal reports.

However, the Boston Globe notes McCain was in New Hampshire yesterday and insisted "his campaign was far from over, a message his most ardent supporters wanted to hear."

Said McCain: "I would like to just say that we're fine, we're fine. The fact is that we had to make some adjustments and now we are out doing the town hall meetings. We are going to continue what we did in 2000 and we are going to be fine."==

4. Sadly, word is he desperately needs to hang on til the Iowa
caucuses to get federal matching funds. Without them he's in a huge hole. Or so I have heard.
