I'm sure "passenger" Gordon Brown is thrilled with this picture.


Are the Getty people Bush's personal photographers? They always come up with these great "Bush in command photos." Bush flying over Katrina. Bush smiling all "honest-like" on the cover of Reader's Digest...

1. I think Gordo would rather be almost anywhere else.
As Phony Tony learned to his cost, every photo-op with The Boy King costs about ten percentage points in popularity. Shrubby is a public opinion black hole, sucking the political life out of everyone he touches.

2. no kidding -- if Harper (the Canadian PM) has any sense ...
... he will stay far, far away from Georgie, if there's any possibility of an election between now and 2009. The thing about "unpopularity cooties" is that they can really jump -- and are hard to dislodge when they do!
