George w, bush has substituted Fundamentals Christianity for Alcohol
Alcohol is the substance to make the alcoholic get the temporary sensation of feeling normal the inherent problem is that the human body can only process one ounce of alcohol and hour. This sensation of feeling normal and the fact that the body can only process the equivalent to one ounce of alcohol an hour; any amount over one ounce of alcohol leads to over loading the body then causing the excess alcohol to travel from stomach threw blood stream system directly to the brain. As the alcoholic finally feels normal they most often over load the body with alcohol and then the first part of the brain that gets disabled, is in their reasoning function area then followed by other brain functions. This is the reason that the alcoholic demonstrates peculiar behaviors when they are drinking and that list could be anything and everything.
The recovery process is getting the alcoholic to understanding that in their day to day life they do not process information correctly along with their view of the world, as non-alcoholics. Recovery from substance abuse hinges on a change in ones internal self honesty. There are a variety of methods of treatment for substance abuse but there are problems when changing the alcohol to a belief system as a substituted for the alcohol. By failing to deal directly with the individuals’ inability to be self honest you fail to get to the foundation of the mental disorder.
George W. Bush has chosen to treat his alcoholism with fundamental Christianity the problem is that if an alcoholic fails to address the internal issues of self honesty; then it simply is exchanging the alcohol for the new found fundamental Christian belief and you still have an untreated alcoholic. George W. Bush in my opinion has displayed his inability to be an honest human being and should be recognized as an untreated alcoholic.
As an untreated alcoholic and replacing his alcohol addiction with the new found belief system of fundamental Christianity. Then who is molding the mind and thinking of George W. Bush untreated alcoholism? Remember the alcoholic is fundamentally a dishonest person, with a skewed perception of reality. Christianity is a faith based belief system without any base in the real world or reality by exchanging this for the alcohol nothing has been done to address the mental capacity of George W. Bush. George W. Bush inherent mental state could comprise the security of the United States by his self admitted mental disorder. It is documented the George W. Bush meets with fundamentalist Christians on a regular bases are these individuals directing the president of the United States policies? If these people believe that a very large war must take place in the middle east to bring by a super huge stretch comet for these believers to get on to return home. No one knows.
The United States congress should demand that George W. Bush be evaluated to his self admitted mental disorder.
Something to consider:
Making an Accurate Diagnosis is Difficult
"Dual Diagnosis" refers to those who have been diagnosed with major mental health disorders and alcohol or substance addictions at the same time.
At least 50 percent of the 2 million Americans with severe mental illness abuse illicit drugs or alcohol, compared to 15 percent of the general population, according to the Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Mental Health Administration.
The problem for professional counselors and mental health care providers in trying to help these patients is making an accurate diagnosis. According to Patrick Smith, M.A., of PacifiCare Behavioral Health, "A substance abuse problem can mimic, mask, or aggravate various mental health disorders.
Drug and alcohol problems and mental illnesses often go hand-in-hand. Among alcoholics, nearly half have an overlapping mental illness or other substance dependence problem. Substance dependence can cover up a serious psychiatric illness, while depression can disguise a substance-use disorder.
Compound Factors
The "double troubled" patient can be extremely difficult to recognize. Often only one of the two problems is identified. The patient diagnosed with a mental disorder may be in denial about the drinking or substance abuse, while the obvious substance abuse of others can disguise the mental disorder.
With teens the diagnosis can be extremely difficult. As one counselor says, "How can (we) separate the normal mood variations of a fifteen year old teenager from certain Bi-polar disorders? When substance use or abuse is present, with resulting mood fluctuation, the variables become staggering."
"It is not uncommon," according to Harold E. Doweiko's Concepts of Chemical Dependency, "for dual diagnosed clients to use one disorder to shield for another disorder." One client may admit to mental health issues in order to avoid his substance abuse and, once the psychiatric issues are resolved, drop out of treatment.
Another client may deny her disorder because "it is less threatening to be a junkie" than to accept a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, Doweiko says. Frustration and depression may hinder one client's ability to recognize and ask for help, while another client may become confused by a lack of knowledge of the processes and goals of treatment services.
