What amazes me is how the common man doesn't see it
The it being how valueless his life is. The common foot soldier (apparently we don't have enough money to take care of those with brain injuries), those medically uninsured or underinsured (an example of a 5 year old dying from an infected tooth), homelessness (including children now). Have you ever taken a good look at the people who "serve" in the government. The president and his ilk will never have to fear for medical care and YOU pay for it. Why doesn't the average American Joe see this?

4. People who currently have a home, medical insurance, etc ...
Edited on Mon Sep-10-07 11:20 AM by Jim__
... tend to believe that they and their family will always have a home, medical insurance etc.

There is also a tendency to believe that people who don't have these things, don't have them due to some fault within themselves.

9. Why Do You Think They Don't See It?
The people see it all too well, and all it does is make them feel even more powerless.
