Mediamatters thinks Richard Cohen is a progresive. Do you agree?

Mediamatters thinks Richard Cohen is a progresive. Do you agree?

Mediamatters released a report today finding that syndicated conservatives columnists dominate the nation's newspapers.
But I found it strange that Richard Cohen from the Washington Post is classified as a progressive.
To those of you who are familiar with Cohen regularly...do you agree?

I have read some of his columns in the NY Daily News (I'm from NY) and I disagree with Mediamatters.

2. Yes - sort of - pro-choice/pro-gay rights/pro Gore's warming-opposed Bush tax cuts, & now anti Iraq
war -

But he bought and still buys GOP talking points very easily - and does not fact check them, thereby printing lies (Plame not being covert. Iraq war being justified -etc.)

He's done some columns I'd consider "conservative"

Seem less liberal as he ages.
