Democrats Support the Troops

Next time someone tells you Democrats do not support the troops ask them who started the USO. Before I answer that question I will explain what the USO does. The USO is mainly know for putting entertainment show for troops, especially those who are stationed in war zones. The USO also maintains stations in many airports around the world in which military personnel can go and sit for awhile when waiting for a flight. In addition, the USO sends care packages to soldiers all over the world, especially those in war zones. To answer the question of who started the USO, it was Franklin Roosevelt.

1. Actually, what Roosevelt did

was decide that private organizations should take care of the troops. It was created by private organizations - mainly religious ones.

Anyway, he's dead now. Now we have a bunch of democrats who are creating more dead and injured troops by continuing to fund the war. I'm more concerned about that than something that happened over 60 years ago.
