So what was Biden doing voting for McCain's bill?!

The rest were the usual suspects: Nelsons, Bayh... but Biden? How am I supposed to take him seriously as a pres candidate?

2. Are you talking about the McCain bill that
came up after the Webb bill was defeated? Maybe he felt there was at least a chance to give the soldiers some time off through the "non-binding" offer. Sort of better than nothing??

Webb's amendment. How is that "progressive" politics? Even Hagel voted against it -- as did Salazar. Biden is a clown, I am sorry... If Hillary voted that way, I can just imagine the uproar that would have taken place here!
