Greenspan trashes Dems on trade, says Bill Clinton "best Republican president we've had in a while."
In his memoir, Greenspan praises former President Clinton for erasing the federal budget deficit and for pursuing trade liberalization. In an interview last week, Greenspan called Clinton "the best Republican president we've had in a while."

8. I Thought Clinton Did Well, & I Voted For Him.... BUT I ALWAYS Knew
he was NEVER a Progressive OR a Liberal. Always to the RIGHT of me. And I think Hillary is even MORE TO THE RIGHT OF HIM!

15. How is appointing a Republican to a commission make him a Republican?
Edited on Sun Sep-23-07 07:03 PM by beaconess
FYI, Clinton had no choice but to appoint a Republican to the FCC - the president is required by law to appoint members of the opposite party to the commission (only three members of the commission can be from the president's party).

Does the fact that Bush appointed Norman Mineta to be Secretary of Transportation make Bush a Democrat? After all, unlike Clinton's appointment of Powell, he wasn't even required by law to do so. :-)

23. Look at what TYPE of person he appointed
as opposed to the party. That (using only one of dozensof examples) should tell you everything you need to know about Clinton's right wing "regulatory" policies.

etc, etc, etc.

Alost all of Bill Clinton's signing into laws was voted
in by majority of republicans, helped in by a minority
of democratic senators and representatives.

21. You know that's not true what you say...I was a Centrist Dem/DLC when I voted for Clinton
so to paint me as some kind of Fringe Left because I've grown and read since Clinton Presidency is making a mockery of all of us who change our opinions when we see we were wrong. We learn from our mistakes and want to move forward.

Dissing folks when you don't know where they come from...even when they try to tell you...and putting cotton balls in your ears not to hear... doesn't help discussion about how we MOVE FORWARD and not BACKWARD... Just saying...

20. Conservative Democrats are very close to Real Moderate
Rebulicans. Not many Mod. Republicans. What we used to call
Rockefellar Republicans. Bill Clinton is a Conservative Democrat.

Greenspan repeated his line on Cavuto's Business program and
on the MTP today.

why didn't he speak up when it would have mattered? Because it would have cost him his job, so he kept quiet. The guy is a disgusting pig and I don't believe anything he has to say.

Fuck him!
