I'm not sure why, but even as a political junkie I haven't had a candidate I've totally supported or a debate I've watched the whole way through.
I'm tired of Edwards posturing himself as an outsider. I'm don't think Bill Richardson has a chance as well as DK who I really agree with on most issues. I like Gravel's opinions but he doesn't have a chance in hell either. I think Dodd is posturing himself to be the netroots answer to Iraq although there's no way that the U.S. is leaving Iraq anytime soon and probably will be there for generations. I think Dodd is smart and experienced. Biden's off the cuff opinions are great for cable news shows but not for a president. And that brings me to Hillary who I think is running a great campaign and is the captain of her ship. I worry that she is aligned too closely with Jewish voters and an Israel that can't do wrong in U.S eyes. I worry that she will overcompensate on military issues and force.
Gads, I forgot Obama...what's with his missing some of the most important votes in the Senate...it's a political decision and I don't like it. He had better step up to the plate because he just doesn't look like he has the stuff right now, as nice as he is.
I still don't know who I would vote for in February, (CA voter) but I don't have the passion I did when Dean ran, so don't know who I'd actively work for at this point. Any of them are heads up over the Republicans running.
Sometimes it looks like the next President just won't be enough to clean up the mess left by the current administration.
