Those interested in the Rather story would enjoy Mary Mape's book.

I read Truth and Duty by Mary Mapes a couple of years ago. It lays out everything that Rather is saying in a highly readable account. After reading it I was amazed that they were expected to crawl under a rock when their story was complete with out that document. Someone pulled a huge double bait and switch on her. I believe it was deliberate to give her an authentic document from a dubious source. That is a trick that has been done before.
