Hillary Must Be Stopped!!! Stop the Insane Iraq policy already
Last nights debate convinced me that Hillary must be stopped, and I don't care what you all think, I know a lot support her.
But really, she voted for the Kyl-Lieberman bill??? Wasn't 2006 election about ENDING war??? hellloooo????
But honest to God, I have been reading various blogs. Hillary is not going far enough to change health care. She voted FOR the war, and she won't say she would get troops out by the end of her term if elected president. And last night she was so arrogant, since she leads all other Dems by 16 points, she practically refused to answered questions. I wished I was watching John Kerry up there, at least his answers I could understand.
Thank goodness for Mike Gravel, who said "Shame on you Hillary for voting for KYl-Lieberman!" At least John Edwards learned from his mistake.

2. Really, it appears that she isn't the only one...

and yes, you are right the message in 2006 was about Iraq, but it appears that the message from the voters is falling on deaf ears

5. Maybe it is because out eco. is based on war?

Maybe we can not stop having war as we will go in to a depression even faster? Just a thought.

6. Good point. I'm coming to believe that the only thing that will get
us out of this debacle in Iraq is an economic crisis.

The "establishment," which is composed of elites from both parties, has decided that we are going to stay in Iraq come hell or high water. Hell has already come and we're just waiting for the Tigris and Euphrates to flood.

We have got to learn to mind our own business and fix our own problems at home. Spending $ 10 billion a week in Iraq - money we are borrowing from China - is simply insane.

13. the USSR said we would spend our self out,
This is just one thing, but I do sort of know a little about it. We keep building subs and just why do we do that? It should slow down a lot as it is going to be very hard to fight a terroirst with a sub. War style has moved on. We do not build battle ship any more. No use for them. Now what would happen to the local base if we stop the sub building? What about the new base in Miss.(I think) that is the subs big home port? Most of the sub building has been moved to private corp. It used to be the part of GD that always showed a profit with its boat yard in New London. This is just part of this stuff. Once a plant comes in no one wants it out of the local voting place believe me. I am not sure how one get a hold of building things one does not need. We also have this world wide empire, of bases, we must keep up and who knows why? We need money spent on checking people at our borders not hotels in the Austria Alps, new golf greens around DC for Congress and officers, and bases in every country in the world. We do not need to put out any more ugly Am. believe me. And as far as I can tell Am. over seas are ugly to local people. I lived over seas and they made my face red how they treated people in their own country.

7. Her answer re: Syria
was the most telling for me. She supports unilateral military action to take out potential, perhaps bordering on theoretical, threats.

8. And people should support the wimp Obama
who didn't vote either way...gee didn't that take a lot of courage. And besides it was a non binding resolution...not a bill that would be passed.

9. That braying mule laugh when Gravel challenged her? For me, that summed
her up to a tee - arrogant, cynical and just weird.
