Democrat Angie Paccione bowed out of the 4th Congressional District race today, citing new job opportunities as the reason for her exit.
The former state representative, who started working for the business-consulting company Pathways to Leadership, said her role in the firm was expanding and included travel to different parts of the world.
"I could spend the next 14 months campaigning for the opportunity to make a difference or I could spend the next 14 months actually making a difference in the lives of others," she said.
