Does an-Qoulter epitomize the moral rot and decay in America?
While this example may be a bit dated (Warning: Posting the following at any alleged Conservative sites in any discussion on “morals” will earn you a ban and the post will deleted) but I decided to bring it up again.

With an election coming there is going to lots of talk about “morals”; so I figured I’d give a prime example of the “moral rot and decay infesting America”.

An example of the moral rot and decay of America under Bush is the continued lie that Saddam tried to get uranium from Niger since 1991. That is just not true; and ALL the evidence and facts expose that claim for the lie that it is.

In this an-Quolter Article: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=51873 The are a few lies, but I will address two of them specifically.

One is the claim that the: “Senate Intelligence Committee also concluded, in July 2004, that Saddam Hussein had sought uranium from Niger.

The SIC Report concluded no such thing; that’s why this Article failed to provide us with this alleged “conclusion”. Below is what the SIC Report actually concluded.

(U) The assessment that Iraq "is reconstituting its nuclear program" was not
supported by the intelligence provided to the Committee.

Also the Article tries to give the impression that the Butler Report also supports this lie with the claim that:

the British government had intelligence from several different sources indicating that this visit was for the purpose of acquiring uranium.

That is not the case. I have personally corresponded with Lord Butler (Robin) on this and the Butler Report states that “at the time in question” the Brits had Intelligence that supported that claim; NOT that, that Intelligence turned out to be true.
