Great program on international effort, less bold on domestic policies. My biggest beef is that really clean and renewable energies like wind, geothermal, solar, ... are totally ignored in this bill to the profit of more traditional energy: biofuel, nuclear, coal, and that incentives to localized energy policies is not at all evoked, while those are certainly the way to make reductions more effective as decision can come quicker than at a corporate or federal level. But a lot of good things. A B+ for me.

Obama’s comprehensive plan to combat global warming and achieve energy
security will:
⇒ Implement an economy-wide cap-and-trade program to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions to the level recommended by top scientists to avoid calamitous impacts.
⇒ Invest $150 billion over the next ten years to develop and deploy climate friendly

least 35 percent, or 10 million barrels of oil, by 2030
⇒ Make the U.S. a leader in the global effort to combat climate change by leading a
new international global warming partnership.
