Subject: What we're getting Joe for his birthday

This is it.

The final dates of the early caucuses and primaries may still be in doubt, but there's one thing we know for sure:

The Biden campaign is building the most effective ground operation that Iowa and the early primary states have ever seen.

On November 16, we're celebrating my brother Joe's 65th birthday -- let's give Joe the best birthday present he's ever gotten: the final push he needs to win the White House.

Click here to help us raise $500,000 by my brother Joe's birthday party on November 16th.

In Iowa alone during the next three months, we're going to send 300,000 pieces of mail, make 150,000 phone calls, hand out 100,000 pieces of literature, and house and feed thousands of Biden volunteers to make it happen.

We've added it all up and we're raising $500,000 in the next 5 weeks to implement the first phase of this plan in Iowa. This is where you and the hundreds of thousands of Biden supporters around the country come in.

We're asking every Biden supporter to contribute what he or she can afford to kick off the final push today.

like to help Biden on his journey and as you know, he doesn't have a lot of money to buy air time or print space.

I will make another contribution to the Honorable Senator Biden's bid for the presidency. He is the most likely candidate to do some good for this country at a time when this country needs to get some things accomplished. Joe can get the job done.

6. Totally agree with you. I know he's been chided for talking too much
but to tell the truth, I find him so interesting. I could listen to him forever, has great stories to tell about the "old days." Wouldn't it be nice if Sen. Kennedy endorsed him.... For old time's sake and all that.

7. From your mouth to Kennedy's ear... I know everybody is courting Ted and
I've read where he said it's going to be a very difficult decision because he's friends with them all. Heck, Hillary, Obama and Edwards don't need his endorsement as much as Biden does. I think I'll drop him a line explaining that. :7

9. Wow, what a nice thing for an Obama supporter...That's the spirit..
I'd have no problem with Obama either, just Joe strikes me a little "old school", great foreign relations know-how, ability to cross the aisle kind of guy.

11. I haven't sent any money to the big money candidates this race
They're doing okay without my small change. I've sent money to Gravel, Kucinich, Richardson, Dodd, and once before Biden. Small amounts but it's what I can do. :)

I love Biden's story about how, when he got home from the hospital after losing his wife, his sister had already moved in.

And when he came home from his second wedding, his sister had already moved out.

If it helps him get the nomination, it'll be like giving ourselves a gift. The man's got passion. I don't see that in the "front runner."
