the updated versions consist of spying on our most basic rights? I worked in Systems support for 25 years of my working career and I find it odd that I really don't know the answer to that based on what is going on in the US today!

1. You're going to have to elaborate, I worked in the field for 12 years and I don't have a clue
what you might be talking about.

3. I guess my question stems from what companies like Verizon, Comcast, and...
others are giving to this Administration in the way of information that has not been sanctioned by our courts. So my concern now is with Internet Browsers in general and what they stand for.

I guess that I was a little concerned the other day to learn that Skype was now owned by Ebay... That basically is my concern.

5. In the very early days of the WWW, I always told my students not to put
anything on the web that they would feel comfortable having displayed on the side of their house. Security/privacy on the internet is an oxymoron. The TCP/IP was specifically designed to be open, trying to secure it is like building a house made entirely of screen doors and then trying to keep them all locked.
