Dem Leadership Unbelievably Stupid
Edited on Wed Oct-17-07 06:59 AM by EV_Ares
Ref the Armenian genocide vote. Whether you agreed with the vote on the genocide issue or not. I thought it was a ridiculous thing to bring up at this particular time. It was something if they wanted to discuss and vote on it, there would be other more appropriate times.

Again, they bring this up and now finding out they have to back down. Another failure.

Also, already Pelosi has indicated they may be able to accommodate Bush on the immunity issue or is up for negotiation for the telecom companies that illegally spied on its customers for the Bush Admin. There should be absolutely no immunity granted for what they did.

Very hard to understand their madness.

1. It's like watching a confused puppy
try to eat a rubber bone.

2. An interesting read on the subject
as usual something the gop finds appalling today they welcomed with open arms in the not too distant past.

And the conservative involvement in the resolution is typically unsavory.

I do agree though, put it on the shelf for now.

3. Thanks for that read Boss. I was unaware of that one as well which
hopefully the blogs and dems will at least get out to the media. However, I still fail to understand why they still allowed this vote at this time and place to come up knowing the complications and sensitiveness of the issue. It is just one other thing to make them look bad and give the republicans something to throw stones at. I just would like to see more responsible leadership. As they say, pick your battles carefully.

4. I'd settle for ANY battle.
At this point they should NOT back down.
