Another reason why I support Hillary - Lynn Cheney is uncomfortable with her
Lynne Cheney says she would be uncomfortable with Hillary Rodham Clinton as president - and wishes the Democratic front-runner were more like her own husband.

"I'm certainly not going to be a supporter of Mrs. Clinton's and I have been troubled by the fact that you can't know what sort of president she would be, particularly on national security," Cheney, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney, said in an interview with The Associated Press Wednesday.

"It makes me uncomfortable," she said. "I kind of like politicians that are more in the Dick Cheney mold, who say what they mean and mean what they say."

Clinton spokesman Phil Singer countered that the New York senator's campaign wasn't counting on Mrs. Cheney's vote, "considering that Senator Clinton will reverse the failed Bush-Cheney policies, especially in Iraq."

2. Hey, Lynne: We should be thankful that our SOLDIERS are NOT like Dick Cheney.
Because if they were, we wouldn't have ANYONE SERVING. Dick Cheney got five deferments. FIVE. He didn't serve his country.

So, we should be thankful our soldiers AREN'T like your husband, who is a COWARD because he did not serve his country.

Talk about being concerned about national security! Put it in perspective, you fucking hypocrite!

13. Stay on topic. This is not about Edwards, it's about the Cheneys.
Nice attempt on your part to make a candidate other than the one you support look bad.

And very typical of DU these days. :eyes:

15. So.. you attack someone for not serving, yet support someone who didn't serve?
Typical of the selective moral outrage infecting various parts of DU...

4. Guess that could be a good reason! LOL!

Lynne Cheney Unhinged:
Insists Her Husband Never Connected Saddam to 9/11

Yesterday, Lynne Cheney appeared on NPR’s Diane Rehm Show to offer an indefensible defense of her husband’s attempts to link Iraq to 9/11:

I’ve seen Dick specifically say “no” to the question asked “is there a connection between Saddam Hussein and 9/11” because there isn’t a connection between Saddam Hussein and 9/11. So, if your caller is troubled, I guess I would just like to know more specifics.

5. I'm supporting her because she is PRETTY DAMN GOOD!
I dont like everything about her, but overall I think she is an incredible politician, hard working, and extremely intelligent.

I would like to see her stand on the war change a bit, but when she is in office, I am sure we will have a plan to get us out.

Hillary is getting the nomination. And she will be President.

I am very confident of it. The lady is good. Real good.

If you are going to pull reasons to vote for Hillary out of your ass just be aware they will probably stink.

9. Exactly.
They have no influence over my vote.

I'm not scared of them, nor do I care who they want or don't want. I pick for myself.

11. If the enemy of my enemy is my friend we should be voting for Ron Paul. . .
. . .however while he is against the war he is a bigot, so that logic doesn't really work now does it?

16. It's also fun to contemplate the torment wingers will endure when Hillary is sworn in.

As far as I'm concerned, the Right are all degenerate traitors. They stole two Presidential elections and continue to damage the nation in every way they can. We can't go back to business as usual. America is in a state of civil war until we find the Right their own country. Plus they are really creepy.

Hillary's Presidency will almost certainly damage the health and well-being of many of these lovely people. We all know how much they hate Hillary--and don't give me this "they want her to run" jive. If you let yourself be fooled by Republicans, you need to be more skeptical.

Any Democratic President imaginable will be good for the country. But Hillary's presidency will at the same time hurt Republicans no end. This is a wonderful benefit. They will stew in their juices for day after day, week after week. For some of them, Hillary will destroy their health, their digestion, their sex lives (such as they are), increase the incidence of heart attacks and strokes, cause divorces, more gay sex, crime sprees, suicides, and deaths.

Of course it saddens us all to think so--but you must admit, it will be very good for the country.
