Poll question: Does anyone have someone besides Hillary they will refuse to vote for if he gets the Democratic nod?
I'm just wondering if the "I won't vote for him or her if they get the nod" thing is just a Hillary thing...or if the same kind of nonsense extends to some other candidates, too. If you pick another candidate in this poll who you won't support, feel free to explain why.

5. I'm beginning to feel the same way.
There are some things that must not be tolerated, especially from a candidate who should be especially aware of what hatred, bigotry, and discrimination are all about.

Theres a thread on here now asking if we should embrace the pro-choice stance to take it away from the republicans, what a crock of shit! When you falter on your principles, all is lost. Homosexuals were used as a wedge issue in 2004 and some of the shit posted on DU about it was, just that, shit.

8. I remember seeing a few people here blaming gays (and unions) after Kerry lost.
It was pretty fucking sick.

You and I don't agree on much here...but we sure do on this one.

22. Did you not catch it in the early debate
when he was asked about being tested for AIDS? He responded that he had been tested and then he got flustered (I think it was in front of a mostly black audience) for fear they might take his response the wrong way. He then said something about Michelle being present.

Anyway, I immediately realized that he is either homophobic or he was pandering to the fears of a certain demographic or both. Probably both.

24. Actually - until that debate comment I had been considering him.
I had not made a decision about who to support in the primary.

His reaction in that debate put him in the "absolutely no way" category for me.

25. Yes... anyone in the DLC. Period.

That rules out Richardson, Dodd, AND Hillary completely. Biden is just a pompous a**hole --- I'm not sure I could EVER cast a vote for him.

I'm very unhappy with Obama's decision to tour with the homophobe. And, I'm not sure about Edwards' conversion, and very unhappy with his prior IWR and Patriot Act Stances. So both are HUGE "maybes".

Kucinich is right on almost every issue, and the best on healthcare.

Gravel is a fighter, but stands no chance.

Unless someone else enters, and enters soon, it'll be Kucinich only for me. If he doesn't "get the nod", two things are possible: I'll stay home and not vote, or I'll write him in. I haven't decided yet.

29. Who are these people who will vote rethug over Edwards?
Rethugs disguised as Dems, otherwise known as DINOs. It's no coincidence they would rather lose the election to the opposition than vote for the party's nominee.
