A musing on Dwight Eisenhower.
Had the hack media been around in 1952 would they have taken the leader of the allied forces in WWII and turned him into a near treasonous leader who bumbled through WWII? Would there be whisper campaigns?
I was thinking about Ike the other day as I heard one puke candidate after another try to pretend that they were Ronald Reagan resurrected. Why is there no one trying to emulate Ike? While there were some controversies, on the whole his presidency was a solid performance as was his life. Whereas Reagan invokes images of incompetence and polarization to many.
Had Ike had to put up with the atmosphere today, would even he be a victim of these clowns?

1. Reagan is the only republicon to serve 8 years since Eisenhower
up until this lying cheating bastard stole the office and they don't want to be associated with him.

They have tried to immortalize Reagan since the day he took office and the repbulicons continue to do so today just as they demonize Bill Clinton.
