Obama is PRO-IRAQ War...
According to the new DU standard of "guilt by association" see here
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=3676210&mesg_id=3676210

Last year, when Joe Lieberman's unwavering support for the Iraq War was well known, Barack Obama tried to have him reelected to the U.S. Senate...thus, Obama was Pro-War

And Joe and I don't agree on everything. But what I know is, Joe Lieberman's a man with a good heart, with a keen intellect, who cares about the working families of America."

"I am absolutely certain that Connecticut's going to have the good sense to send Joe Lieberman back to the United States Senate." - Barack Obama

2. Ha!
The difference is that Hillary voted for it and still supports it. While Obama didn't and does not.

6. You mean like this?

Obama's cordial with a well known war supporter, so therefore he's a war supporter?

8. This thread is F**KING BULLSH*T - quote was said WAY BEFORE the CT primaries
Edited on Fri Nov-02-07 12:26 PM by LynneSin
http://ctconservative.blogspot.com/2006/04/sunday-news-roundup.html

(sorry it's a conservative site but it has the quote AND date listed on it)

I believe the primaries were in August.

Most of the senators supported Lieberman before the primaries and most of them supported the eventual democratic nominee, Ned Lamont afterwards.

This thread is bullshit! And those who are recommending it are simply trying to slander Obama on a wildly inaccurate premise.

BTW - Obama is on the bottom of my list for who I support

13. Well the Obama supporters are bashing Hillary Clinton and trying
to say she is PRO WAR because Joe Liberman is supporting her. SO here we go...the Obama supporters want it both ways. They want to be sure you think, just because Liberman supports Hillary she is pro war.

But never the less....because Obama supported Liberman for re-election he isn't pro-war...Oh oh oh the absurdity of it all....I guess they think people won't connect the two..boo hoo boo hoo....so wrong.

14. Obama was against the Iraq war from the beginning... Hillary voted for it.
I don't care who either support, or who supports them.

Oh yeah, voting for the Kyl/Lieberman amendment is much different than support.

16. So Hillary voted for the Kyl-(fill in the blanks) amendment

Who co-wrote the amendment that offered Bush a nice, big pass to attack Iran, overriding diplomacy over the "War on Terror"?

Hint: it's the guy on the left that Hillary is giggling with with the other guy she gave a free pass to.

15. Obama supported Lamont after Joe lost as a Dem

Your quote was taken before Lieberman lost as a Democrat. Nice work!

18. Your post is a LIE...and you know it
I won't waste my time with your petty little desperate antics.

Obama supported Lieberman when he was a Democrat. When Lieberman lost, Obama ended up supporting Lamont. I could do the links for you, but this is old news...like your candidate.

20. Hillary is pro-Iraq War because she voted for the IWR and supported it until it became unpopular
Joe's support of her has nothing to do with it.
