I lurk alot, don't post much, and have tried really hard to keep opinions of candidates to myself after I let myself get drug down into the "bash fest" thats going on.
I read many posts through the day, when I'm between laundry and cooking dinner...up at night like I am now...while the kiddos do homework etc.
One thing I've noticed is a great passion here on these forums. A die hard 'Stand by your candidate' with a huge influx of posts each day.
Passion is a wonderful thing, and there are so many brilliant people on these boards.
I just wanted this ONE politics post to reflect how proud I am that so many are invested in the political process and to say these few things.
1) Don't forget to smile, everyday. 2) Take everything here with a grain of salt, I get offended (I am so far from perfect it's not even funny) but it's getting farther between times :silly: 3) Don't let people on here make you want to :argh: it's just not worth it. 4) Ask questions, learn, read, decide. That is the beauty of this country. 5) People are still people...no matter which candidate they support, party affiliation, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, financial level, or educational level they have. They all have feelings.
Once again, I am VERY proud that we have so many wanting to be involved in the future of this country.
:applause: :woohoo: :applause: for everyone.
