Tomorrow morning at 5:30am EST -
the opening of the British Parliament will be covered live. Queen Elizabeth will be there with all the pomp and pageantry you'd expect.

I'm a sucker for ceremony - it should be fun.

1. Hey, I'm gonna try to catch that. I'm in the middle of the movie "The Queen"
right now (very good so far).

3. I love watching that.
It's just fascinating to watch. An event that has basically lasted for centuries.

4. I've never seen it!
but I just set the Tivo to record it.

I've grown fond of the old girl. She has a helluva job.

7. It's really impressive.
Sure puts the President's State of the Union address to shame. I think that's the only comparable thing we have to the Queen's Address to Parliment.

I like Her Majesty, also. She has done a superior job as Queen of England.

5. I attended that three years ago.
It was spectacular!

My little boy (who was 4 years old at the time) was in awe. :)

6. wow, that must've been something to see!
What was it like? Were you part of a big crowd outside? Does Elizabeth ride up in a big carriage? A Jaguar?

I'd love to hear about it.
