Crowd Wowed by Bill Clinton at Rally in Las Vegas
Former President Bill Clinton was the featured speaker at a Hillary Clinton rally in a predominately African American district is Las Vegas this evening.

The rally was held at a school Andre Agassi built for underpriviledged youths. Agassi was in attendence and appeared on the outdoor stage with BC and many local Democrat officials. I was also there (in the crowd below).

The Clinton magic was still alive and well. His voice was a bit raspy but that didn't stop him from speaking on a wide range of political issues for nearly an hour. Cheers and adoring sentiments from an enthuthiastic audience caused the president to pause a number of times. I estimate the attendence to be in the 800-1000 range.

Although the venue was in the heart of an African American district, it appeared to this observer, that a majority of the attendees were affluent whites.

A host of Hillary campaign volunteer workers, mostly young, made the event run smoothly .

He can really rake in the dough.:wow:

4. It's called campaigning. He gave a half dozen reasons why we should vote for Hill without
bashing the other candidates.

6. Thanks for your description of the event
I heard him speak at a campaign rally for the governor of Maryland in 2002. He is a terrific speaker.

9. There is no substitute for CLASS..
The more we see and hear the candidate rivals juxtapositioning for the White House, the more I realize how far we have fallen in eloquence and maintaining party unity. The Riff-Raff we're now attracting as presidential hopefuls is truly disconcerting falling far short in credentialed candidates justifying a presidential run. (no offense to Biden, Dodd and Richardson)

Thank goodness for Bill and Hillary. The last duly elected president who made our country a better place when he left office than when he found it. Hopefully, the Clintons will bring sanity back to the country and Class back to the White house.

11. BC put extra emphasis on the fact that "all our candidates" deserve our respect
and would serve the Oval Office well. Then he went on to detail Hillary's special qualifications.

12. I forgot to mention, Bill is also a kind person
and regards party over pettiness and would never publicly denigrate another candidate to benefit Hillary. Unfortunately, referring to my previous post, that is not the situation with other candidates seeking the presidency. Publicly, there isn't enough mud on God's green earth to sling at Hillary every chance they get.

15. Nuh uh. This slate is amazingly classy. And intelligent, energetic...
What happens in the primary stays in the primary. It justs looks a little like an abattoir until it's over.

17. I disagree..
when you have candidates comparing themselves to Lincoln, JFK, MLK, their quotes used to lend credibility to their message bloviated with distorted inflammatory rhetoric. That said, Biden, Dodd and Richardson not included in my statement.
