Anyone else noticed that?

I have on Hardball now, talking to Richardson and the ticker next to his name reads (D) Presidential Candidate.

The game is rigged, folks

1. Naw, they use the term "hopeful" all the time. It doesn't mean anything.

2. At least they said (D). I'd swear I saw a ticker last week that called Dennis (R)! nt

3. Exactly!
I spent several minutes, saying to myself "How could ANYONE be offended by Dennis being called a Democratic Presidential Hopeful?"

4. The use of a harmless synonym is rigging the game?
I know the dice are loaded for fat cat friendly pols. But surely you can find non-trivial examples to rant about.

7. Count your blessings. They could use "(D) Presidential No-Hoper" -
and have rock-solid news-disseminating professional reasons to do so. Giving him a "hopeful" is kind.

8. Well if it said "Tiny Presidential Hopeful"
I could see your point.
