It should be noted that these votes were cast prior to Dennis's stellar performance in the House today.

9. You're welcome. It was a bit painful for me to post since my guy is in the
cellar, but I always give credit where credit is due. Even though it kills me sometimes. :7

11. As a Kucinich supporter, I'm used
to having my guy "in the cellar," when he clearly doesn't belong there.

I think that the "2nd tier" is put in the cellar by the establishment, and will be held there as long as voters are blind enough to be led by what the media and "polls" say.

I'm not playing that game, and I hope you won't, either.

5. State-by-state breakdown is interesting
As an internet poll, it's obviously unscientific, but still interesting.
Gore did well in the Northeast and won his home state of TN.
Obama did well in a number of early primary states. He won in SC, while coming in a strong second in IA and NH. He also won his home state of IL.
Edwards won in WA for some reason, though he came in 3rd in his home state of NC.
Hillary got less than 5% in her home state of NY, though she got 9% and beat Edwards in AR.

sooo unelectable that he whooped them. I wish the rest of the people in this country knew he was out there running and what he stands for. Nope, that will take work, they would have to look it up.

:) I like.

18. Isn't this were Dean was four years ago?
If many are against Clinton because they can see the Republicans salivating, think about them mocking the 'UFO" candidate.

Sometimes I think that liberals like to be the losers. This makes it so much easier to criticize everyone and everything instead of behaving in a mature way and making decisions that, by nature, will not satisfy everyone.

21. If one does not think beyond the immediate poll - yes
Do you really think that if he is the nominee he will be elected? UFO Dennis?

Sure, hitting on that button will give you a momentary high (BTW, I did not participate, was not going to provide my email). However we hear here, and during the debate, how we will lose if Clinton is the nominee. You can be sure that whatever Clinton's disadvantages are, they pale compare to Kucinich's when it comes to the general elections.

He cant get beyond 2% in his own party and he could win the
general?

I'm not saying Ill be picked for the 2012 Olympics but if
I was, I would certainly win gold in all my events.

26. Mock it all you want, but the poll was important to DFA
The irony here of course is that DFA was founded by Dean, whereas the Kucinich crowd founded PDA. DFA has been trumpeting their poll for weeks and would have endorsed a candidate who got 66%. Presumably that could have been Edwards or possibly Obama but Kucinich and Gore got in the way. DFA goes to great lengths to analyze their data, actually spinning it as a good showing for Edwards. They are making a big deal about poll and they are by no means supporters of Kucinich.

30. Congatulations Dennis!
I voted for Al Gore, but politically, I'm aligned with DK. I think it's time to send him a donation. I've declined donating to the DNC anymore, since I'm not happy with the choice of leading candidates.
