I've never had a dream about any politician...NONE. I couldn't believe it when I realized this morning that Joe Biden appeared in my dreams again, last night. Granted, I've decided to give him my support in the January 3rd caucus, but I must be more enamored with his message than I thought.

Perhaps it's because he sounds more presidential, but then we've been deprived of that luxury for 7 long years, so Biden may just stand out more.

Go, Joe!

3. He was campaigning and there were SO many people walking toward him.
Edited on Wed Nov-07-07 11:52 AM by Frustratedlady
They kept coming out of the side streets toward a central point, but I never saw what was happening, as I couldn't see over their heads. Talk about a Frustratedlady.

I've been reading up on him over the past few days, so I might have Biden saturation. I will say it was a good feeling to see all those people, though.

On edit, I might also add that the people were calm and happy. We haven't seen that in a long time, that's for sure, and it was a good feeling.

4. he's my #1 right now
I could picture him as a kind of Jed Bartlet kind of president (from The West Wing TV show)--a passionate, compassionate, take-charge, get-things-done smart-as-a-whip take-no-prisioners kind of president.

The current resident has the take-charge part, but in no way does he have the smarts or the compassion needed for the job. So we have a whole lot of energy going in the opposite direction. Joe's would go the right direction.

we're having a West Wing marathon right now at my house. There are things about Biden that remind me of Jed Bartlett. One is the way Biden just rattles off facts and figures without hesitation.

5. I used to say that the most dangerous place in Washington is between Biden and an open microphone.
It appears I have underestimated the man.

He is now so enthralled with the sound of his own voice, that he has taken to speaking to people in their dreams.

The man MUST be stopped.

14. I'm projecting,
I guess. I'M the one that probably needs the anger-management therapy. You bring up a good point, though. I wonder what the statistics are regarding people seeking therapy for rage, despondency and general malaise. Have the numbers gone up in the last seven years? If so,by how much? If "regular folks" who only care about being comfortable and being good consumers are experiencing "Bush fatigue", what about folks who actually have a social conscience and give a shit?

15. I have wondered that exact thing myself.
In fact I fantasize about a class-action lawsuit for emotional distress and/or criminal charges for psychological abuse. I for one would have no problem finding quite a few people who would attest to the negative effects * has had on me. I honestly dont think Ive ever been so enraged by a stranger... not to mention my bush induced bouts of paranoia. But you know, Id guess that Mr. & Mrs. Everyday-Folk dont pay enough attention to even really know what the hell is going on. I think its mostly people like us who think and educate ourselves that end up paying the price for it psychologically.

33. Mr. & Mrs. Everyday-Folk pay attention when it finally hits home
and that is happening more and more lately. Job loss, huge debt, illness, uninsured, underinsured, etc. Some people need to be whacked with reality before they see what's going on.

Sadly, some people need to be shaken out of their complacency before they get the big picture.

of an America where we're respected around the world. I dream of a President we can be proud of. Proud, because he's intelligent, honest, and will do the right thing for his people, and for those around the globe.

31. Do daydreams count?
I find myself driving home alot from work, etc. dreaming about Biden being President. Sometimes I even get chills when I think about what would happen if he were elected.

(Actually whenever I'm in my car I'm always thinking of him probably because of the huge bumper sticker plastered on the back of my car. I'm always wondering if the people behind me read it.)
