Support US War Resisters in Canada

Americans who believe that former US soldiers who have refused to continue to participate in the occupation of Iraq (and the torture and murder of its citizens) should be allowed to stay and live peacefully in Canada are being encouraged to let the Canadian government know how they feel.

By saying NO to the US's illegal and immoral occupation, these men and women (of which there are hundreds) have placed their duty to internatonal law above obeying the US's war criminals. They have also sacrified more than we can imagine, leaving their jobs, homes, friends and many family members to live underground in a foreign country.

by breaking their oath to serve their country and obey the orders of the officers appointed over them, in accordance to the UCMJ.



As for this being an illegal war, the United States Congress approved the invasion of Iraq, and has not yet revoked that authorization.
Please show me where in the US code this war is illegal. (And also post the related section where you found it. IE XX USC XX)
