My name’s Mark Klein; I used to be an AT&T technician for 22 years.

What I figured out when I got there is that they were copying everything flowing across the Internet cables, and the major Internet links between AT&T’s network and other company’s networks, and it struck me at the time that this is a massively unconstitutional, illegal operation.

It affects not only AT&T’s customers, but everybody, ‘cause these links went to places like Sprint, Qwest, a whole bunch of other companies, and so they’re basicallly tapping into the entire Internet.

2. Of course they are. I happen to think they HAVE BEEN, since the

internet came into existence.

I wonder if that had anything to do with the UHaul truck that parked itself directly in front of my house for a WEEK about 3-4 years ago. Never did figure out what it was all about. When I finally complained to the parking enforcement people after a week, it was gone within a few hours.

Tinfoil hat time. I have wondered if I was singled out for special close-up "attention"......
