Why I will strongly consider pulling the lever for Dennis Kucinich in the Primaries
The way things stand right now, if I did anything else, I'd be going against everything my heart is telling me.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still be high on Obama, Hillary, or Biden if they get the nod, but AFAIC they are all light years behind Kucinich when it comes to diplomacy, impeachment, and the environment...three very important issues to me. Oh, and there's one more...Dennis doesn't beat around the bush like the rest of them do. Expressing his thoughts is easy for him because he just says what's on his mind instead of giving us the same political mumble-jumble that the other candidates bombard us with every day.

It pisses me off to no extreme how none of the other candidates are willing to punish Bush. They're all petrified to even WHISPER about it because they're so afraid that it might hurt them politically in their careers. Although he's so spot-on about the other issues, the impeachment factor alone is enough to make me vote for Dennis. Whether or not conviction of Bush and/or Cheney is successful is not necessarily the bottom line. The bottom line for me would be to just TRY...at least get that impeachment asterisk next to Bush's name so future generations will always be aware of what a fucking monster he was when they read about him in the history books. Not trying to impeach the criminals is a crime in itself and I'll never forgive our people if they don't at least make the attempt and back Dennis up on this.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm sick of politicians trying to prove how tough they are just as a means of appealing to fearful voters, and as I already mentioned, I'm sick of politicians turning the other cheek on Bush and Cheney's high crimes for whatever reasons are a goddamn mystery to me. I'm also sick of politicians sucking up to their base during mid-term elections about how to end the war and then enabling the war by not having the guts to vote to de-fund it.

And last of all, may I extend major FUCK-YOU'S to so many members of the media who love to mock Kucinich for various purposes, probably because he secretly scares the shit out of all of you because he's such a pure Democrat and he does something none of the others do...he forgoes political doublespeak with telling it like it is. Every last one of you media dipshits are the last people on earth who should be making fun of ANYONE. Just look in the mirror.

2. I hear you.
I bought 100 Kucinich buttons last month...my mission is to find a home for all of them. Peace, Kim

3. I voted for him in the primary in 04 and plan to do so again.
Dennis has the courage of his convictions - something that can be said of very few politicians these days.

4. You should also help his campaign
That extends your major fu even better! There's a movement afoot to send $7.99 to his campaign as a symbolic donation. But you could send $799.

7. "voting on principle"
That about sums up my feelings in 3 words.

Those 3 words should be the driving force behind anyone's vote in the primaries.

15. That is an Impeachable offense-
We should let Dennis do what he does best. Dennis is the Constitutional spokesperson for the country. Electable, he is not. Don't waste your vote on Primary Day.

6. That's a big part of the Primaries
...and that is often overlooked these days.

The Primaries are the average voters' best chance to have influence on the direction of the party, not just an affirmation of what the party bosses and media have decided for us.

And I'll stick my neck out here-I think DK COULD be elected if he got the nod. Look at how well he is doing, with the DLC and the MSM trying to drown him. If he had the Party behind him, he could win in a landslide against any of the Reep opponents.

10. Because if we don't
whoever the nominee is (if it isn't Dennis) will continue to take the progressive wing of the party for granted.

11. I love Dennis
((newbie, well, actually a LONG time reader, and am finally getting off my butt to post)), but I am voting for Dennis. I had the HONOR of meeting this man in San Mateo County (CA), he is a true progressive.

17. MI here
the best we can do in the primaries is send in our money and talk to people in other states. I'm sorta upset about it all, but I suppose that means less money DK needs to spend in our states?

13. k & r -- he's the candidate with the best ideas and a vote for Kucinich reminds the DLC that we're
ready to stand up for a candidate who will stand up for our best interests.

22. I don't believe Dennis is out to punich bush. I think Dennis just believes in holding
the rule of law, and won't let other political concerns get in the way of defending the rule of law.
