Dennis Kucinich
He thinks the United States only invaded Iraq to get at its oil. He says his country needs universal health care and a "Department of Peace." He voted against the Patriot Act. He brought forward a resolution in Congress to impeach Vice-President Dick Cheney.
Oh, and Dennis Kucinich also thinks he should be the Democratic candidate for President.
This is the second time the Ohio Congressman has run for the Democratic nomination, and once again his strident idealism and defiantly liberal views seem out of step with his party. After all, most Democrats are focused on winning the White House next year, not bringing down what's left of the Bush Administration.
With only weeks to go until the Democratic caucuses and primaries begin, Dennis Kucinich is considered a long shot to win his party's nomination, but he is helping to define the race.
We reached Dennis Kucinich in Washington.
Anna Maria Tremonte is one of the world's best reporters. She pulls no punches.
Dennis was brilliant. Tremonte couldn't fluster him, no matter how hard she tied.
