13. That wasn't a purge, and at heart, I DON'T think it WAS "progressive"
A small group of rich men were good at propaganda (George III was NOT the Devil), seized power for themselves and continued to rule it over everyone else... and many people were terrorized, murdered and deported for no real reason.

Were there legit complaints against the Crown? Yes. I'm just saying the American Revolution wasn't "progressive."

I look at Canada, and even Australia, and...

17. Anti-central banking
we might not be in the pickle we're in right now if not for the federal reserve's takeover of our currency almost a century ago.

The founders didn't bring freedom, but they knew a bad deal when they saw one.

22. First there was fuzzy math. Now we have fuzzy history
Hamilton, one of the guys most responsible for our Constitution, was extremely pro-central banking. So were a large number of the Framers. How do you think we ended up with a central bank if they were so opposed to one?

Kicking the candidates would do no good- you'd have to kick more than 1.

I'd kick Rahm Emanuel for sabotaging the progressive movement

4. Does it have to be a candidate?
It doesn't matter anyway. The malignancy in this party goes far beyond just one person.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Remember, Hillary, miles to go before you sleep.

18. Obama...
In light of the fact that the Senator's idea of "unity" looks a whole lot more like "divide and conquer" and he doesn't seem to get that it was the battles of the 60s that made his presidential run possible ~ I happily toss him to the Republicans he's been sidling up to lately.

20. Agreed...one more reason that he has lost my vote..
The very reason he is able to run today is because of those that fought in the 60's. He doesn't get it....

23. None of them.
Of course, if I acted from emotion, or if I wanted to proclaim myself the supreme leader, I'd kick every DLCer out of the party.

I won't do that, though.

I'd rather do my "kicking" in the voting booth.

It's that "democracy" thing.
