FL Rep Wasserman Schultz said that impeaching Cheney won't fix
what's broken in Washington. She might be right but what's her point? It is a place to start. She can pass all the good legislation she wants but if we continue toward unitary executive rule, it can all be undone in a minute. First things first. Punish the law breakers or our rule of law becomes a joke. I am not a fan of Ed Schultz but he hit it on the head when the rep said it was a waste of time to impeach while they needed to take action on Iraq for example. Big Ed pointed that they weren't doing shit about Iraq anyway. Big Eddy kept saying that the people want impeachment, bless his heart.

1. I thought he took her to the woodshed
I'm not a big fan of his, either. But during the interview, she went from asserting that impeachment isn't in the top ten of issues on the public's mind down to not being in the top five. Someone on her staff must have found a poll about that and slipped her the word while she was being interviewed.

2. I'd love to see that poll again. Ed sounded like everyman, talking to a
non-responsive representative with a "we know best" attitude.

3. She's in error.
The problem is the Bush-Cheney juggernaut. It must be stopped permanently, if this nation hopes to survive. And the only logical way to stop it is by impeachment and removal of the principals.

4. If you ignore what this administration has done, then you are an accessory to it
Did the illegal wire tapping violate the law?

Did the outing of a CIA agent violate the law?

The problem is that the Democrats in Congress are not particularly clean either

Who were the Democrats that voted for the IWR, a direct violation of the of the War Powers Act?

Who were the Democrats that voted for the Patriot Act, a direct violation of the Constitution?

I think this is why they won't push or even investigate impeachment, because many within their own ranks will be exposed

It wasn't just repukes that took money from defense contractors.

Look at feinstein and her husband's business dealings, definitely a conflict of interest there

5. Called her office last week and reminded them she store to uphold the constitution.
If someone broke the law then they deserve justice NOT the proverbial sweeping under the rug.
