Physician to run against McConnell in the 2008 KY Senate race
From the Louisville Courier Journal's political blog this morning:

Finally, a candidate
I just got an email forwarded to me a few moments ago announcing a Democratic candidate who has decided to take the plunge and try to unseat Sen. Mitch McConnell.

No, it's not Crit Luallen. It's not Andrew Horne. And it's not Greg Stumbo, Owsley Brown or anybody else you've heard mentioned.

Michael Cassaro, a 51-year-old pain managment doctor from Prospect, will announce tomorrow that he will take on McConnell in the 2008 election.
