Thompson to be endorsed by anti-abortion group
Mon Nov 12, 2007 3:24pm EST

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential hopeful
Fred Thompson will be endorsed by a leading anti-abortion
group on Tuesday in a move that could bolster his support
among conservatives.

The National Right to Life Committee plans to announce on
Tuesday that it will endorse the candidacy of the former
Tennessee senator, an official familiar with the decision
said on Monday.

Thompson, who was campaigning across the early-voting
state of Iowa, declined to confirm the new backing but
said he had the group's support in the past and would
welcome it again.

1. Well, there you go, old man, someone felt sorry for you and threw you a bone.
Surprised they didn't give this one to Huckabee, after his compelling argument that aborted fetuses could have averted illegal immigration by growing up to be low-wage lettuce pickers.

2. That might be his last "claim to fame."

3. Terif.
I feel more certain than ever now that he may be the next GOP vice-presidential nominee.
