9. Axelrod's now talking about rekindling that sense of idealism that has been lost in our politics
Edited on Mon Nov-12-07 05:32 PM by flpoljunkie
And, of course, Axelrod, feels that Obama is the candidate who can rekindle the idealism missing in our current presidential politics.

Tweety seems smitten with Obama's speech and thinks he has now delivered on the expectations many had for him with the speech Obama gave at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner in Iowa. Tweety tells David Schuster that he's "romantic" about politics--in explanation of his waxing on about Obama's speech and the possible implications for his campaign.

18. Tweety now interviewing Jonathan Darman, Newsweek and Nancy Giles about, you guessed it, Obama.
Matthews just said his favorite years were 1968, apparently he loved Robert F. Kennedy, and 1989--the year the Berlin wall fell.

Newsweek's cover story this week is on the year 1968, "The Year That Changed Everything."
