Tell me if this sounds familiar:

Well, today, the first lady, responding to a planted question at a Teachers Union event made it clear she is in the race for the US Senate.

Oy.

3. Are you saying that Hillary operates on the same moral level as Jeff Gannon?
Hey, if that's your defence of your "girl," go right ahead!

7. First of all, her name is Hillary, not hillery
Second, it was you who brought up Jeff Gannon as a justification.

2. So Hillary lied to us again when she said she doesn't do this sort of thing
ANDREA MITCHELL, NBC CORRESPONDENT (on-camera): Brian, today's events were as carefully choreographed as the New York City Ballet.

(voice-over): Under pressure to either get in or get out, Hillary Clinton finally makes it official by answering a prearranged question from a friendly union leader.

QUESTION: So, is it yes, or is it no?

HILLARY CLINTON, FIRST LADY OF THE UNITED STATES: I believe that if we work together, we really can make a difference for the children and families of New York. So the answer is yes, I intend to run.

5. Depends if that's being sold as an anything-goes open forum.
Doesn't really sound like it was, so it's not a comparable situation.

I agree this is offensive, and you'll find no support from me on this. Fraudulent campaigning is despicable.

8. actually pre arranged and planted are two different things
Clearly everyone knew in real time the question was pre arranged. That isn't close to what people are complaining about now.

11. Yes, another Iowan....
Edited on Mon Nov-12-07 11:52 PM by TwoSparkles
...(in addition to the woman at Grinnell College who asked about global warming)--has come
out and said that a Hillary staffer asked her to ask a specific question.

That's two incidents in Iowa recently.

And please, are we actually supposed to believe that these staffers concocted this
idea to plant questions on their own? Staffers don't make the rules, especially
when you're working for a presidential candidate. They don't blink unless Hillary
says so.

More lies from Hillieberwoman.
