John Edwards is not the purest Dem in the race
I don't think it makes sense to make Edwards out to be the most pure by those who go in for that sort of thing, in my opinion Kucinich wins the purity test hands down. And the purity people should defintiely not even consider Edwards due to his Senate record which he doesn't want to talk about, ie. being a major cheerleader for the Iraq war (way worse than Hillary by the way, Edwards was gung ho and went on all the media shows talking about the evil Saddams WMD)

So it puzzles me to see anyone trying to equate Edwards with Kucinich, it just doesn't compute. For example there was a thread in GD where they asked the Kucinich supporters would they go for Edwards instead of Kucinich for practical purposes and I was glad to see most gave a resounding no.

Edwards supporters trying to push the theme of Edwards being the only one to clean up the corruption and save the party are barking up the wrong tree IMO.

6. None of them are pure; this I've accepted. People just have to try
to make the best decision possible. If he's their decision, that's okay. Same goes with all the other candidates.

9. I know why Edwards would like to be seen as
pure (not sure that's the right word)as Kucinich, what I don't understand is why any of Kucinich's supporters would buy into it.

10. OMG! Edwards isn't "pure"! He can't wear white at his wedding! No good boys will date him.
That slut. That absolute slut!

I've got a suggestion. Why don't you post something postive about Clinton instead of being a dick?

12. Some people are so willing
to sell out just to keep someone else from winning. I understand that but K is different. There IS no one like him not even Edwards. I think that is why most K supporters will not switch. Of course I don't really know but that is a pretty good guess I think. I mean really, who is like him?

I don't know if Dennis is exactly pure, he has certainly evolved over the years. He plays fair, plays his cards so you know exactly where he stands. That is why I will not switch, he is the only one who stands for what I see is needed and I know exactly what he will be trying to do. The others? Not so much if at all.

14. I can respect that
Kucinich is a very original thinker and I admit way better than the rest of the field in his creative ideas.

18. Thank you.
I think your question is a fair one since the question of switching votes has come up several times to short circuit your candidate. I guess I just wanted to say that since I see that you are getting called on for bashing. I appreciate your kind response, so many are not.

13. Why did you select Edwards to be the object of your wrath.?
If Kucinich had a chance he would have moved up in the polls
early own.

Edwards has nothing to do with that.

15. Mainly because I see a theme being pushed
by some Edwards people that Edwards is the "savior" and only he is untainted and can save the Dem party from corruption and business as usual. Only he is for the "common" man and "one of us".

I will say this theme is more prevalent at Daily Kos but there is a little of it here as well.
