With the new Iowa poll by CBS/NYT, there's something there for everyone, no matter who your preferred punching bag is.

Right now, the polling in Iowa is:

Clinton: 25
Edwards: 23
Obama: 22
Richardson: 12
Biden: 4
Dodd: 1
Kucinich: 1

New Hampshire:

Clinton: 37
Obama: 22
Edwards: 9
Richardson: 6
Kucinich: 5
Biden: 2
Dodd: 1

Now, let's get to the bashin' and the defendin', because that's DU's favorite bloodsport in leap years.

More Clinton voters than those backing Obama and Edwards have
reservations.

66% of Clinton supporters strongly favor their candidate, compared to 73 and 71 for O/E. And 33% have reservations, compared to 22/27 for O/E. Preferred line of attack? "Not even Clinton supporters like her; they'll abandon her soon."

Now, the question, Why do you support your candidate?
Clinton's top four are "right experience," "health care," "she's a woman," and "Bill Clinton," with 17/15/13/9 giving those responses. Obama has Honesty/agrees on issues/like him/Iraq, and Edwards has Honesty/Cares about people/agrees on issues/health care.

Preferred lines of attack? Clinton: Proves people only like her because of bogus issues like her vagina and her husband. Obama? People like him because he's charismatic, but he's incapable of being a leader. Edwards? His top three are character; he's obviously a phony pulling the wool over people's eyes.

Now, here's my favorite.

"Have the best chance of winning in 11/2008:" 47/17/20
"Bring about change in Washington:" 20/37/17
"Understands problems of Iowans:" 18/18/32

It's official. Iowans think Obama and Edwards are unelectable, Clinton and Edwards are politics-as-usual, and Clinton and Obama are out-of-touch. Please feel free to combine these when discussing other candidates. For instance, when someone mentions Obama, say, "Iowans think he's out-of-touch and unelectable." When Clinton, say "Iowans think she's nothing but out-of-touch politics as usual." And for Edwards, of course, "Iowans think he's an unelectable slick-talking politician."

Now, one last salvo for your cannons.
