Democrats Have to Fight Harder
The Democrats in Congress must begin fighting harder against Bush on spending issues. It might be that the media is not reporting most of the Democratic Party's responses to Bush's claim of wasteful spending. However, in my opinion the Democrats need to do everything they can to get the word out that wasteful spending went up under Bush and the Republicans. In addition, the Democrats need to make sure that everyone know that wasteful spending has been reduced by about $10 billion by the Democratic Congress. They also need to point out that spending most likely would have gone down further if not for President Bush himself. While Bush makes speeches about wasteful spending during the Democratic Congress he fails to mention that a great deal of that wasteful spending is coming from himself. The people need to know that in terms of fiscal responsibility the Democrats are doing a really good job.

1. The Democrats on the Hill must be made to realize
just because they tell a reporter(s) on the hill--this does
not mean it will be covered on TV. Just because it gets
printed in WA or NYt , it does not necessarily get out to
3/4 or the majority of the country.

Tjhe GOP realized the importance of TV(where most Americans
get news) and seem to make themselves available.

The News right now is TAX and SPEND DEMOCRATs.
