He will be speaking in the town next door to me about his new book "Broken Government."

The Palos Verdes Democratic Club is his sponsor...

It promises to be standing room only, and I will be there...

lucky you! I have seen Chomsky twice, Howard Zinn, Amy Goodman, and Al Franken speak and that is it. I stood in line to see Michael Moore but there was no more room at the venue during the DEM convention in Boston in 2004. :hi:

I just checked Audible.com and that book is available there (half price!), so I'm downloading it right now. I also have his "Conservatives Without Conscience", in that same audible.com format.

Fascinating stuff, so far. Also on that MP3 player, is: "The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court" By: Jeffrey Toobin. I was about halfway through that one, but I put it on hold for the John Dean book. Especially for side by side comparisons such as this, paper books are a lot better. But there are still definite pluses for this Audible.com format.
