McClellan finally tells the truth and MSNBC calls it "turning on Bush"
Currently on the MSNBC front page:

"Ex-spokesman turns on Bush

Former White House spokesman says both president and vice president involved in CIA leak deceit."

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

So Bush and Cheney out a covert CIA afent, and McClellan helps cover up their roles (not to mention Libby and Rove), and THEN he tells the TRUTH, and it's considered TURNING ON BUSH.

IS IT 2008 YET?

5. Exactly. Just a word describing what happened.
There's no value judgment implied. He turned on Bush. Flipped like a gymnast. Good!

4. Most in media already knew WH was lying about their involvement and THEY covered it
up the entire time, especially the 17 months before an election where Bush's integrity on the terror issue and war was being promoted daily.

Scottie was doing his job lying for BushInc because he was part of BushInc. The cormedia lied for BushInc for 17 months before an election because THEY are part of BushInc - the propaganda arm.

6. Pretty damning - Here's what he said
"The most powerful leader in the world had called upon me to speak on his behalf and help restore credibility he lost amid the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So I stood at the White house briefing room podium in front of the glare of the klieg lights for the better part of two weeks and publicly exonerated two of the senior-most aides in the White House: Karl Rove and Scooter Libby."

"There was one problem. It was not true.

"I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice President, the President's chief of staff, and the president himself."

9. True...but...
...I guess the issue I have here is my definition of "turning" on someone.

My first thought goes to someone innocent who is betrayed by someone who "turns on them."

So whether MSNBC is trying to deliver an "extra" message with those words or not, that's how I received them..."Bush betrayed."

After all, Scottie goes back to the Texas days when Bush was a loser without the title of "President of the United States" (as opposed to 2007, when he's a loser with the title).

7. I'm quite surprised that Scottie decided to tell all. He always seemed
like such a chicken shit wuss to me, he's the last of those who departed the WH that I expected to speak out. I bet his mother coached him to do it.
