Chris Dodd Criticizes New Clinton Ad
In response to a new Clinton ad in New Hampshire highlighting Republican attacks against her, Senator Chris Dodd fired off this response:

"It's an interesting admission from Senator Clinton -- that if she's elected we're headed for four more years of the partisan warfare, Washington
dysfunction, bitter divisiveness and gridlock that have marked the last 15 years, at a time when all Americans are desperate for real solutions to
real problems."

1. Finally someone shows a backbone and they're slapped down
by those in their same party.

Pathetic!

2. His statement is true. That is one reason why HRC is slipping in the polls
Facts are facts and it doesn't matter if you approve of them or not.

3. Who needs the RW hate machine when we have such a great
one right here on DU.

No wonder the Dems always have such trouble getting elected.

You don't see the GOP doing this crap.

9. Clintons wouldn't back up ANY Dem opposing Bush from 2001-2006.
And even HELPED to protect Bush's decisions on the two biggest issues of the last 6 years - terrorism and Iraq war.

That was some backbone they showed.

When Bill defended Bush during his June 2004 book tour:

When Carville called WH on election night:

5. Dodd, Biden and Richardson all have histories of working with
the other party to get things done.

I'm not commenting one way or another on the ad or on Dodd's quote.

But, geez, I'd like to see bills passed AND SIGNED sometime in the next 8 years x(

6. Yes, and it would be good for the country if we had a president who could do the same.
I'm tired of nearly a generation of partisan gridlock under Clinton I/Bush II. I have a feeling
that most Iowans (and a majority of Americans) feel the same way.

8. A majority of Iowans agree with all of us.
According the that ABC/Washington Post poll, a whopping 55% of likely caucus goers favored "a new direction/change"
over 33% who wanted "strength/experience". Hmmm....I think those numbers are identical to the combined first and
second choice placings of Obama (55%) versus Clinton (33%).

Bless those Iowans.
