strong evidence that Romney's campaign itself was behind the anti-Mormon push poll
Edited on Wed Nov-21-07 03:16 PM by antiimperialist
It turns out that two of the pollster calling people asking if they would vote for a Mormon candidate were on Mitt Romney's payroll; this important fact had not been disclosed by Romney's campaign.

I knew it was weird that in the push-poll, the surveyors reportedly praised McCain while attacking Romney's Mormon faith.

A real push-poller try to be more careful than that.

This is why we shouldn't rush to say that George W. Bush is praising Hillary Clinton because he somehow approves of her, or that they are similar politicians.

Black ops of this manner are used in Politics to confuse, and they are many times very effective.

2. Bush didn't praise/approve. He made a prediction.
He predicted she'd win the nom and lose the general.

That's all there was to that dustup, at the end of the day.

If you support Clinton, or don't, there's an accord to come to with regard to his words--who cares what HE thinks? He was 'so right' about Pooty Poot's soul, after all!

A Democrat will win the White House. We may not know which one, yet, but who cares, really, in the big picture. My Democratic old DOG would do a better job than any of the GOP field. Surely even the candidate one likes the least is better than any of them.
