1. More likely due to not being able to legally remain where they'd taken refuge

3. ABC Nightly News also says we've captured Osama and HE was the lone gunman....
...of JFK!

Ever since their mockumentary about 9/11, I find it impossible to trust a damn thing they say.

19. You're f'ing kidding...

OUR people are more important than their people all day long. We have lost almost 4000 men and women, and another 27,000 wounded, so I really don't have much sympathy for the Iraqi's. Don't talk to me like I'm the one with the issues. And by the way, "WE" did not do anything. BUSH did. Don't EVER make the mistake of including me in your WE comments.

What's disgusting is that YOU are defending Bush's war by saying WE. I want NO part of the blame for that, since I didn't vote for him, twice. I refuse to "unite" behind a president who has lied to all of us, and contiunes to do so, to this day.

11. That is such a bloody lie.
We all know that Iraqi's trying to leave are being turned back when they get to Syria or, if they are already there, many are being returned. That's like saying the prisoners are staying in Guantanamo because they like the climate in Cuba.

15. According to Riverbend, some Iraqis are running out of money.
Those poor people suffer no matter where they are. They come back to what? These liars should pay for what they've done to satisfy an ego. Shameful.

16. The source for the report is an Iraqi government ministry
They provided no verifiable data to back up their assertion.

Even if the story were true, which it isn't, how long will it take for 2.5 million Iraqis that have fled the country to return home at the rate of 1,000 a day?

17. Not to mention that
there are roughly 2 million that left country (and another 2 million internal refugees). So at 1000/day, that makes.... almost 7 years to be "back to normal". Just putting the number into perspective. Even if true, it is not a very impressive number. Also, as others have mentioned, there many other reasons for returning beyond the peaceful paradise that awaits them at home.
