Polls open in Australia
Polls opened in Australia about an hour ago, the results should be known around 13 hours later. All the polls point to a Labor win, with anywhere from a 4 to 30 seat majority.

MSM talking up a close race, but all year polls have been running Rudd ahead between 8 and 10 points. An interesting day and night ahead.

Anyone interested in following the results check out this site with results starting to come in at 1800 Sydney time; 0700GMT.

10. Will there be exit polling?
And will it be widespread enough to tell us early on who'll get a majority?
